Greetings from Beautiful Maui Hawaii

Born in Aspen, and raised in Telluride, Colorado, Tad has
always had a passion for the outdoors and a reverence for the
beauty of his natural surroundings.

Tad received his first camera, a Nikon FE2, as a high school
graduation gift. Since then, he has been obsessed with
perfecting his craft, constantly pushing himself to create
better, more beautiful images. He began his career as a sports
photographer shooting extreme sports in Colorado, Oregon, and
Hawaii.

The transition from Sports to Wedding Photographer evolved with the help of three things: A Public Relations degree from C.U. Boulder, years of experience working in Five Star Hotels
and a solid photography background. Tad skillfully blends
traditional techniques with spontaneous photojournalism. The
striking quality of his photographs is rooted in the basics:
clean, simple compositions, a candid eye toward his subjects,
and the ability to step out of the way to allow the
breathtaking beauty of the Pacific speak for itself.

Tad prides himself on treating clients like friends and takes an

Christina, Will & their dog, Marry on a PERFECT Makena Morning

Although Christina & Will hadn’t known each other for very long, they knew they were perfect for each other & decided to just do it! Of course getting married without their close friends & family was NOT an option. Either was getting married without their dog! Yes “Butch” also flew out on their private jet & was even part of the wedding! While viewing their images look for the two of them looking to their left. In this picture they are calling for Butch who runs to the ceremony with their rings. “Butch” was the perfect bestman!
Of course the location out in Makena was SUPER Spectacular. The early morning light made for beautiful color & the joy they shared was contagious!!!

Lisa & Mark Spend the entire day celebrating their Wedding!

Not so often am I asked to start shooting in the morning and finish after sunset. Lisa & Mark had Sugarmans Plantation House rented for the whole day, & thats just what we did. In all the years working on this property, I had never shot there first thing in the morning. OMG the place was SO BEAUTIFUL! I love that turquoise water & brilliant blue sky as the back drop. It was really fun working with everyone as well on such a joyous day. As magical as the day was, the sunset was pretty amazing also. Enjoy!!!!

Megan & Patrick Marry on Maui’s West Side

Meagan & Patrick had a beautiful wedding with perfect weather! The wedding site is located on Maui’s gorgeous West Shore, not far from the famous surf break Honolua Bay. Throughout the wedding, whales breached & put on a show for us. Very spectacular!!! Alii Aumakua Weddings took care of all the details on the grounds of the beautiful Brennan Estate. You could tell how excited Patrick was on marrying Meagan as he was absolutely “giddy”. Every moment that he could, he would steal kisses or do something fun. It was really a superb wedding with great people! Congratulations to them both. Enjoy the pictures!
