Location, location location!
You know how you always hear that phrase? Well from the very first moment upon my arival at The Gorgeous, Ocean Front Estate on Maui’s west side, I was amazed with its beauty. With the sound of the waves breaking almost at your feet & the Rich Color your eyes are feasting on, you are left stopped in your tracks. Of course both the Bride & groom were loving it as well. Jon’s family had just flown in from England & they to were soaking in the beauty of the day! Tori Rogers of Hawaiian Weddings had taken care of all the details with Delables Flowers making their flowers magical! Dennis Derego took care of the minstery duties & finally after 7 years it was done & they were married. Enjoy the pictures & the Beauty of Maui.
Congrats to Erica & Jon & Many Mahalos for making me a part of your gorgeous day! Tad

Rebecca tried to cancel her first date with Geoff because she was too nervous (and the season finale of The Bachelor was airing). She told him she was too busy and tired but he convinced her they would just meet briefly since it was a work night for both of them. They made it home around 3:00 am after talking on a bench by a lake all night. Geoff eventually proposed on that same bench a little over a year later and the rest is history!
Just two years later, they said their “I Do’s” to each other at the stunning Gannon’s Restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean! With their family & a few closest friends, they united as ONE and had blast along the way!
My very best to Rebecca & Geoff. Have a Fantastic life together! Tad

Both Angelena & Ryan are local Maui’ans, so when I was asked to shoot their wedding at The Sugarmans Estate ( also called Honua Kai Lani Estate) in Makena, I knew it was going to be a giant of a wedding. With my assisant Marie-Claude in tow, we were excited to see all the work they had done to have an incredible wedding @ an exceptional location! I had been told that the wedding party was BIG, but I didn’t know it was going to be 26 people! NO problem though, as it was easy & really fun shooting Ryan with all his buds & Angelena with all her (sassy) girlfriends. We were blessed with lots of clouds making the lighting stunning & very soft. LOVE that lighting!
The evening, of course, happened at lightning speed & suddenly is was their first dance. Having practiced lots for it, Angelena & Ryan destroyed the dance floor with HOT move after HOT move. It was a great first dance, with the 200 people in attendance all standing & clapping afterwards. It was also super cool having their cute little dog there as well.
Of course all the little kids stole the show looking extra cute in pictures! I love the shots of the two of them under the arch, but as a portrait photographer I love the character in the guy with the black hat. My VERY favorite image though, (just cause its different), is the very last back lit shot of the post. So dramatic!
My very best goes to Angelena & Ryan on a Gorgeous wedding & a fantastic start of their new life together.
A Hui Ho! Tad

Upon arrival @ The Gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House, we were treated to a stunning venue put together by White Orchid Wedding.
The “rustic look” white flowers arrangements were very beautiful on all the tables ~ specially all the details on the vases!!! They had a hint of light pink and so many little details that were to die for!!! The arches, the wedding dress, the bridemaids dress, the dress hanger ( marked “bride” in metal) the sparkle shoes, her something blue, the groom colored socks, the delicious cake, the pink table clothes, the bouquets and the two little flower girls with their crowns… everything was perfect. Really!
They also had that BLUE~BLUE sky that we all love so much because it makes the prettiest background on all photos!
With all of Hannah’s bridesmaids hovering around making sure no details were overlooked, Hannah just looked radiant!
Hannah’s parents walked her down the aisle with tears in their eyes. It was very touching! Of course the little flower girls had to steal the show for a while, being “EXTRA CUTE” in front of all the guests.
Tim had a traditional breaking of the glass & sweet kiss to seal the deal. Very beautiful ceremony I must say! Maui again delivered a beautiful sunset! I especially enjoyed the fire show put on by Manutea Nui E. Wow! Was it ever AMAZING!
Congratulations to Hannah & Tim!
Enjoy the pictures & thank you much for letting me a part of your special day!

Laura & Chris had been working with Vicky of Dolphin Dream Weddings for quite along time to put together a beautiful wedding for them. The day of their wedding was just that. BEAUTIFUL! With little clouds rolling through every few minutes, the light was constantly changing creating the perfect backdrop for Laura & Chris to say their nuptials.
Having connected with them right away, it was a day filled with candid moments with just about everyone there…either laughing or crying.
Especially Laura’s sister (in a green dress) who could not hold back the tears of joy that came over her throughout the evening. Their close friend became officially authorized by the State of Hawaii just to marry them. Truly an amazing wedding & amazing couple & I wish them the very, very best. Tad
I met with Ashley & Adam in early December when they came to Maui to begin planning their Maui wedding. We immediately got along great!
Fast forward six months & all of the planning for their gorgeous wedding @ Sugarmans Plantation Estate in Makena came to fruition.
Tropical Maui Weddings took care of all of the beautiful details and put on a fantastic wedding!!!
My friend Kimokea was also a family friend of theirs & was the officiant. His words were as beautiful as the location in self! The evening was filled with laughter, joy & lots of dancing.
Enjoy the pictures & Congratulations to Ashley & Adam.
Thank you for letting me be part of your special day!
