Greetings from Beautiful Maui Hawaii

Born in Aspen, and raised in Telluride, Colorado, Tad has
always had a passion for the outdoors and a reverence for the
beauty of his natural surroundings.

Tad received his first camera, a Nikon FE2, as a high school
graduation gift. Since then, he has been obsessed with
perfecting his craft, constantly pushing himself to create
better, more beautiful images. He began his career as a sports
photographer shooting extreme sports in Colorado, Oregon, and
Hawaii.

The transition from Sports to Wedding Photographer evolved with the help of three things: A Public Relations degree from C.U. Boulder, years of experience working in Five Star Hotels
and a solid photography background. Tad skillfully blends
traditional techniques with spontaneous photojournalism. The
striking quality of his photographs is rooted in the basics:
clean, simple compositions, a candid eye toward his subjects,
and the ability to step out of the way to allow the
breathtaking beauty of the Pacific speak for itself.

Tad prides himself on treating clients like friends and takes an
invitation to photograph every event to heart. His professional,
easy going personality will help make your special day relaxed,
hassle free, and fun. His creative eye, attention to detail, and
friendly, approachable nature have made him one of the most sought

Royal Lahaina Hotel + Kapalua Beach on Valentine’s Day!

Talk about excitement to say those magical two words ” I DO”! Nicole was just beaming from ear to ear from the moment I met her to the very end of the evening when we finished. The weather of course was just about PERFECT, & of course The Royal Lahaina had the perfect wedding location over looking the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Kimo was the officiant & as always had them (& me), cracking up with his dry humor. Afterwards we left the hotel to find some intriguing places to shoot at. Found that “Intriguing place” in Kapalua with those Gorgeous trees. We continued our “photo trek” down on Kapalua Bay & mother nature delivered one “Perfect” sunset. Was such a pleasure working with them & capturing their love in pictures!

Location, location location!

You know how you always hear that phrase? Well from the very first moment upon my arrival at The Gorgeous, Ocean Front Estate on Maui’s west side, I was amazed with its beauty. With the sound of the waves breaking almost at your feet & the Rich Color your eyes are feasting on, you are left stopped in your tracks. Of course both the Bride & groom were loving it as well. Jon’s family had just flown in from France & they to were soaking in the beauty of the day! Tori Rogers of Hawaiian Weddings had taken care of all the details with Dellables Flowers making their flowers magical! Dennis Derego took care of the ministry duties & finally after 7 years it was done & they were married. Enjoy the pictures & the Beauty of Maui.
