Upon arrival at The Beautiful Hyatt Regency on Kaanapali Beach, I was greeted to a very radiant & excited bride.
The weather was perfect & her wedding venue covered in gorgeous purple flowers. Her fiance, Sy, was cool, quiet & relaxed as she finally walked up the isle. Their wedding was short, beautiful & very moving. They both had written their own vows & Sy’s were especially meaningful!
The backdrop of the Lanai & the pacific ocean was stunning! I wish Lucy & Sy the very best as they enjoy their new life together.

Teresa & Alan’s story is awesome.
They actually haven’t dated each other for all that long, but there connection being SO TIGHT, they both knew they were perfect for each other!
When they first talked about marriage, she expressed her dream of getting married on her favorite Hawaiian beach. Alan of course agreed that they HAD to marry on Hulopoe Beach on Lanai.
In the early planning they were not going to even have a photographer. She happened to come across my work & then told her Maui friend, Andrea, about this photographer she had found. Her friend asked who it was & she laughed when she heard my name. Andrea is a friend of mine for some 25 years. It was meant to be!!!
Finally the day of wedding came & was it ever SPECTACULAR!
Upon ariving at The Beautiful Four Seasons Manele Bay in Lanai, I was treated to the joy of two madly in love people SO EXCITED to marry each other. With just 12 friends there (five of which were my friends) they said their “I Do’s” & jumped & laughed & cried & kissed!
The whole expereince was very moving & totally beautiful!

My first meeting with Kristy & Hugo was late last fall. They were both delighted in planning their life together and I knew their wedding was going to be fun to photograph.
Fast forward ten months & all that planning was finally coming to fruition! They are both HUGE Charger fans. Kristy not only had the Charger garter, but also a Charger Groom cake made for her husband. With incredibly excited friends & family by their sides, they married & then turned up the volume!
The location on Maui’s Westside was absolutely perfect, ending with a stunning sunset.
After some well said toasts, they danced & danced & danced. I mean even Hugo’s grandmother was “ripping up” the dance floor. Looking through the pictures you will see 2 “Planking” pictures. In all the years I had never taken one & suddedly its all the rage. Too fun!

A Hui Ho!!!

OMG! Nancy & Keith have such an awesome story!
Having dated for a VERY long time, Keith has been deployed in Iraq for 4 tours & Afghanistan for 2 tours.
Keeping the faith that her fiance would remain safe after all that time in harms way, they retreated to Maui at The Westin Resort & Spa to finally say their “I Do’s” to one another.
Throughout the evening, passerby’s kept wishing them “Congratulations”.
When we walked through the pool bar area, everyone there started clapping! I got “chicken skin” from the reception they received. Very Cool!
Like all these people, I also want to say: “Congratulations & thank you so much for your service to this country!”

OMG! Imediately upon my arrival @ Hotel Wailea I was cracking up with the groom & his groomsman. After doing some gorgeous pictures with the bride we left for the famous White Orchid Beach House in Makena. We were treated to Teresa Senas’s beautiful flowers which decorated just about every where. The evening went by in a snap as it was just so fun working with everyone. My favorite pictures are the natural light pictures of the two of them on the beach. I love the LOOK she is giving Tom in those pictures! White Orchid Wedding did a super fabulous job on putting this beauitful wedding together.

Alexandra & Tyler had a small but beautiful wedding just before sunset with the wind blowing their hair & their families watching. The two of them are just the sweetest couple. I had so much fun shooting their pictures & I can’t wait to see the coffee table book we are making for them. Enjoy the pictures!

When I arrived at Stephanie’s room to do pre-wedding pictures, I discovered how excited she was to tie the knot with her fiance.
She was absolutely glowing! The wedding location is quite incredible with terrific views of the Pacific Ocean. Of course all of the details were handled beautifully by The Four Seasons Maui. I love the photo of the two of them in their Disney hats. They had one of their first dates at Disneyland and of course when I saw the hats, I had to get a picture of them with it. Truly a fantastic evening.

Wende, Troy & their two closest friends came from San Diego to marry @ the Beautiful Four Seasons Resort & Spa. Wende could hardly contain her excitement before hand & well even afterwards! Yes, once they were married they just kept kissing, kissing & kissing. It was fantastic working with them as they were naturals for creating gorgeous candid moments.

Holly imediately had me cracking up when she put on her bright pink cowboy hat. Her radiant smile & excitement for the joyous day was written all over her face! With their closest family & friends by their sides, they spoke from their heart & started their new lives as a couple on Maui’s beautiful west shore of Kaanapali. The Hyatt Regency made for a spectacular back drop & of course the sunset did not disappoint. Actually I can not recall a more beautiful backdrop for a first dance in all the years shooting weddings. Congratualtions to Holly & Matt & thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

Getting married in front of the beautiful ocean on one side and The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui Hotel on the other side is just MAGiC! This wedding was elegant, simple, touching and on the beach with their close family and friends! This couple were so in love, you can see it thru the pictures!
