Greetings from Beautiful Maui Hawaii

Born in Aspen, and raised in Telluride, Colorado, Tad has 
always had a passion for the outdoors and a reverence for the 
beauty of his natural surroundings.

Tad received his first camera, a Nikon FE2, as a high school 
graduation gift. Since then, he has been obsessed with 
perfecting his craft, constantly pushing himself to create 
better, more beautiful images. He began his career as a sports 
photographer shooting extreme sports in Colorado, Oregon, and 
Hawaii.
                 

The transition from Sports to Wedding Photographer evolved  with the help of three things: A Public Relations degree from C.U. Boulder, years of experience working in Five Star Hotels 
and a solid photography background. Tad skillfully blends 
traditional techniques with spontaneous photojournalism. The 
striking quality of his photographs is rooted in the basics: 
clean, simple compositions, a candid eye toward his subjects, 
and the ability to step out of the way to allow the 
breathtaking beauty of the Pacific speak for itself.

Tad prides himself on treating clients like friends and takes an 
invitation to photograph every event to heart. His professional, 
easy going personality will help make your special day relaxed,

Shannon was SO Excited to remarry Tom

When I met with Shannon she was absolutely “GIDDY” with excitement. She remained in her “giddy” state for the entire evening! Her & Tom had been married years before, but had never had the wedding of their dreams. They were finally able to do just that on Wailea Beach in front of The Four Seasons Maui, with their very closest friends & family present. After the breathtaking sunset we walked up to their beautiful reception site on the Four Seasons Lawn. Thank you Shannon & Tom for letting me be a part of your special day. Enjoy the pictures!!!!

Brianna & Daniel Celebrate Pregnancy with a trip to Maui

I shot Brianna & Daniel’s wedding two years ago at The Fairmont Kea Lani here in Maui! It was a great wedding & I totally connected with them. Fast forward two years & Daniel calls me, telling me that he wants to surprise his pregnant wife with a photoshoot. So as planned, I was locked & loaded in the lobby hidden from her view, until the moment when he told her & I was ready. The first shot you see, is Brianne realizing he was serious about doing a photoshoot. In that picture she is just beginning to understand that it is me with the long lens! Classic! Had a great time working with them again & of course the sunset was SPECTACULAR! All week long the sunsets were “10′s” on the 1- 10 scale! Enjoy!!!

Tiffany & Daniel get Engaged @ The Four Seasons Maui

I met Tiffany & Daniel at The Four Seasons Maui for an engagement session. I absolutely loved her dress & knew the color would stand out in the evening light! They just happened to pick one of the best nights for pictures as the sunset was off the charts gorgeous! Enjoy & great working with you Tiffany & Daniel!!!
