Being from Calgary,Canada; Andrea & Scott wanted a beautiful tropical wedding. Merriman’s Restaurant, sitting on beautiful Kapalua Bay did not disappoint them!
With the sun shining brightly & the brillant colors sparkling, they said their “I Do’s” to each other & immediately started the celebrations. With all of their guests coming from Calgary as well the party was on!!! My very favorite shots are the last two posted to the blog.
I love the candidness of that moment as they walk towards me laughing with each other. Congratulations to the two of them.

So I had met this couple just minutes before the ceremony, but have to say I immediately had connected with them.
A really sweet couple that had dated for a long time & finally were able to get it done. They had actually wanted to do the wedding the following evening which would be 09-10-11, but I was already booked on that date so they changed their wedding date just to hire me. (Mahalo)
We were blessed with gorgeous weather though on the 9th.The sunset was SUPER FABULOUS! Lori of Tropical Maui Weddings took care of all of the beautiful details. Enjoy the pictures and Congrats to Grace & David!!!

Earlier this day the rains absolutely poured on the north shore of Maui. Just about 2 pm though, the clouds cleared up & the sun peaked through! By the wedding start time the weather was gorgeous as well as their wedding. Jenn was grinning ear to ear & laughing almost the entire time. Their little daughter Mattie was so cute & could put on her “cute” look on command! SO MUCH FUN! After finishing pictures, we strolled in to the Gorgeous Mama’s Fish House. Mama’s is amazing & absolutely & a must do when visiting Maui. Enjoy the pictures & congrats to Jenn & Brad!

Everything was beautiful and “Pretty in Pink”! The Keawalai Church was decorated to the “nines” and gorgeous. The pink roses stood, stunning contrast to the red alter behind Yan. Yan patiently waited at the alter for his bride and her fabulous dress! Later on after doing lots of pictures at the church we moved on to Gannon’s for their reception. The theme at the reception was also pink…with pink in just about “everywhere”! Sarah came to me asking if i could get a couple fashion oriented shots in her “second” dress…of course, i told her, when she made her second entry with her new dress was amazed! Well done, Congrats to the both of you!

Amber and Ryan met of all places … Las Vegas! It was the last night of both of their Vegas vacations and they met at a club. With Amber living in California and Ryan in Texas, the start of of their romance was long distance but that did not keep them away from each other.
Ryan is not only a “smooth dresser” but “smooth talker” and a gourmet chef. Amber was smitten from day one and within one year she had moved to Texas to be with him planning their wedding on Maui.
Their wedding day was stunning-beautiful. Lots of pink, violets and smiles.

This was a great little wedding up at Gannon’s Restaurant overlooking the pacific. The lighting was especially beautiful & of course the bride was positively “glowing”. Jennifer’s bubbly personality was especially contagious & both her & Mike had me cracking up all the time. Enjoy the shots & big congratulations to Jennifer & Mike!

I see alot of beautiful dresses being a wedding photographer. Kristi’s dress was really eloquent!!! Of course Kristi & Mikes laughter & gorgeous location helped make the day pretty special as well. As always I really enjoyed working with White Orchid Wedding who took care of all the particular’s. Enjoy the pictures!

Talk about connecting with your clients! OMG these guys were great. Right away I felt super comfortable with both of them & Kelly had me rolling with her humor. They laughed & laughed through the evening as I recorded the moments. Did I mention the wind was blowing seemed like 40mph? No worries for these guys though as all that was important was enjoying each other & the beautiful evening. The Plantation House took care of all the details! I had so much fun working with Nicole & Fernando. They both are Maui residents & love Salsa Dancing! Both of them had really great energy & were having just a fabulous time. Of course Salsa Dancing, was going to take center stage later in the evening. This was the first wedding I shot with my new Nikon 200 F2 lens! Enjoy the pics!!
