Greetings from Beautiful Maui Hawaii

Born in Aspen, and raised in Telluride, Colorado, Tad has 
always had a passion for the outdoors and a reverence for the 
beauty of his natural surroundings.

Tad received his first camera, a Nikon FE2, as a high school 
graduation gift. Since then, he has been obsessed with 
perfecting his craft, constantly pushing himself to create 
better, more beautiful images. He began his career as a sports 
photographer shooting extreme sports in Colorado, Oregon, and 
Hawaii.
                 

The transition from Sports to Wedding Photographer evolved  with the help of three things: A Public Relations degree from C.U. Boulder, years of experience working in Five Star Hotels 
and a solid photography background. Tad skillfully blends 
traditional techniques with spontaneous photojournalism. The 
striking quality of his photographs is rooted in the basics: 
clean, simple compositions, a candid eye toward his subjects, 
and the ability to step out of the way to allow the 
breathtaking beauty of the Pacific speak for itself.

Tad prides himself on treating clients like friends and takes an 
invitation to photograph every event to heart. His professional, 
easy going personality will help make your special day relaxed, 
hassle free, and fun. His creative eye, attention to detail, and

Grace & David’s Intimate Maui wedding

So I had met this couple just minutes before the ceremony, but have to say I immediately had connected with them.
A really sweet couple that had dated for a long time & finally were able to get it done. They had actually wanted to do the wedding the following evening which would be 09-10-11, but I was already booked on that date so they changed their wedding date just to hire me. (Mahalo)
We were blessed with gorgeous weather though on the 9th.The sunset was SUPER FABULOUS! Lori of Tropical Maui Weddings took care of all of the beautiful details. Enjoy the pictures and Congrats to Grace & David!!!

Ashley & Adam’s Magical Makena Wedding

I met with Ashley & Adam in early December when they came to Maui to begin planning their Maui wedding. We immediately got along great!
Fast forward six months & all of the planning for their gorgeous wedding @ Sugarmans Plantation Estate in Makena came to fruition.
Tropical Maui Weddings took care of all of the beautiful details and put on a fantastic wedding!!!
My friend Kimokea was also a family friend of theirs & was the officiant. His words were as beautiful as the location in self! The evening was filled with laughter, joy & lots of dancing.

Where Twila became Mrs. Anthony S…This beautiful historical Plantation House is full of charms and very romantic! They had contacted me a year prior and i had eagerly anticipated their wedding!
With the help of Lori from Tropical Maui Weddings, their dream wedding was a success! From the details of her colorful bouquet, flowers in her hair, table settings, the music with the awesome musician Jamie Lawrence, hula dancing, leis…it was gorgeous! You can see for yourself! OMG, Ritchie was so excited about her big day & it was written all over her face. She married her high school sweet heart after 10 or 12 years. Quite amazing! Once again I had a great time shooting up at the upper knoll @ Seawatch in Wailea. Both of their friends & families were fantastic Enjoy the pictures!
