Upon arrival @ The Gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House, we were treated to a stunning venue put together by White Orchid Wedding.
The “rustic look” white flowers arrangements were very beautiful on all the tables ~ specially all the details on the vases!!! They had a hint of light pink and so many little details that were to die for!!! The arches, the wedding dress, the bridemaids dress, the dress hanger ( marked “bride” in metal) the sparkle shoes, her something blue, the groom colored socks, the delicious cake, the pink table clothes, the bouquets and the two little flower girls with their crowns… everything was perfect. Really!
They also had that BLUE~BLUE sky that we all love so much because it makes the prettiest background on all photos!
With all of Hannah’s bridesmaids hovering around making sure no details were overlooked, Hannah just looked radiant!
Hannah’s parents walked her down the aisle with tears in their eyes. It was very touching! Of course the little flower girls had to steal the show for a while, being “EXTRA CUTE” in front of all the guests.
Tim had a traditional breaking of the glass & sweet kiss to seal the deal. Very beautiful ceremony I must say! Maui again delivered a beautiful sunset! I especially enjoyed the fire show put on by Manutea Nui E. Wow! Was it ever AMAZING!
Congratulations to Hannah & Tim!
Enjoy the pictures & thank you much for letting me a part of your special day!

Congratulations to Vanessa & Ricardo for their very beautiful & very fun wedding at The Olowalu Plantation House! Planning their wedding all the way from Italy was quite a challenge, but after months & months of planning & countless emails, the day arrived & Maui once again put on an amazing show with Stunning weather & a Gorgeous wedding location. In addition to the bride & groom coming from Italy, most of the family also traveled the long distance to be part of the festivities. Vanessa looked stunning in a sassy form fitting dress & OMG did she ever laugh & laugh & laugh. Actually everyone was just having such a good time soaking in the beauty of the day. I have lots of favorite shots, but especially love the last B&W shot in the post. That was just such a pure moment to capture as you can almost “FEEL” the love they have for each other! ENJOY the pics & again Congrats to Vanessa & Ricardo!
With the two of them living in Dallas, Texas, it was an easy choice to come to Maui for their wedding as it is MUCH cooler here.
Another draw to Maui was that the groom’s mom is a school teacher in upcountry Maui. Debra at Matea Island Weddings had taken care of all the beautiful details including the awesome table set up.
Super Cool! The shot of Dana shaking hands with Chris the head sports caster at ESPN who was on property at the beginning of the shoot. The evening unfolded beautifully with a fabulous sunset. Check out the silhouette shot of the bridal party. Notice the air they are all getting & the heals all the ladies are wearing.
Really great wedding to cover with lots of candid moments. I wish them the very best!
Enjoy the images! Tad
Where Twila became Mrs. Anthony S…This beautiful historical Plantation House is full of charms and very romantic! They had contacted me a year prior and i had eagerly anticipated their wedding!
With the help of Lori from Tropical Maui Weddings, their dream wedding was a success! From the details of her colorful bouquet, flowers in her hair, table settings, the music with the awesome musician Jamie Lawrence, hula dancing, leis…it was gorgeous! You can see for yourself! Congratulations once again to the proud and happy couple! Tad
OMG, I had so much fun shooting this wedding!!! I immediately connected with both of them & I loved their style. Emily’s dress seemed to come right out of the 1920′s & Zach followed suite with his own Classic Look & Super Cool Tie!!! Styling!!!
I loved shooting the natural light shots of them holding hands on the beach. Those seem to be right out of that era. Their day was gorgeous with blue skies & a gorgeous sunset made Olowalu’s beauty stand out. Enjoy the pictures & Congrats to Emily & Zach!
Alyssa & Tait interviewed me 2 years ago to cover their wedding. Due to scheduling conflicts, they had to change their original date. Their big day finally came though & was quite amazing! The Maria Lanakila Church in downtown Lahaina is perhaps one of the most beautiful churches in Maui. Their service was about an hour total & after tying the knot, we headed to Olowalu Plantation House for their reception. Olowalu was gorgeous that evening & fun was had by all. Congratulations to Alyssa & Tait!!! Mahalo for letting me be part of your special day!!!
OMG a another incredible wedding experience for me. Both Karin & Alvin never stopped laughing & joking around with each other. How can you NOT get amazing pictures with subjects like that??? Of course the location was pretty spectacular & with their model good looks made my job easy. Really great group of people who were all very friendly. I loved working with them & was perhaps in my top ten favorite weddings of 2009. Enjoy the pics!!!
